Share a case
Bring data that disagrees.
A verdict is only as good as the cases it has survived. If your account shows something that supports, limits or overturns a claim in the ledger, I'd like to see it.
What a useful case looks like
- Which ledger claim or open question it relates to
- What you changed or observed, and over what period
- Which reports you read, and at what time grain
- The result as ratios, indices or directions
- Anything else that changed at the same time
The rules
- De-identify first. No brand, store, product or client names, no product identifiers, no product images, no specific category (describe it generically, like “a high-repeat consumable”), and no absolute sales, cost or price figures. Ratios and indices only. Anything identifying that slips through will be removed before publication.
- Consent. Nothing is published without your explicit consent. You can withdraw consent before publication.
- Clearly labelled. Published cases carry the label “Reader-contributed, not verified by us.” I may add my own reading next to yours, marked as mine.
- Credit is your choice. Your name, a handle, or anonymous. Your choice is final.
- No guarantee of publication. I read every case; not every case gets published, and none are paid for.
